The metabolism pathway varies depending on the individual. However, the end product 16-OH-estrone is a carcinogen. This specific metabolite is a strong promoter of breast and cervical cancer. Cellular Support includes Indole-3-carbinol and DIM which can promote the estrogen to be metabolized through the favorable pathway (2-OH-estrone).
